Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNOREEN GLADYS WIEBE (nee BETZOLD) 1934 - 2003 It is with such sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother and grandmother Noreen, at home with her family on November 4, 2003. Gone to be with her husband Dick, Noreen leaves behind her three children and eight grandchildren, Randy (Pat), Colleen, Andrew, Chad, Deborah (Gary), Kyle, Christopher, Matthew, Kim (Rick), Kristin and Erin. Noreens brothers, Raymond (Lorraine), Ken (Grace) and sisters, Marlene (Wilbert), Sharon (Abe), and many nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Born on January 30, 1934 in the municipal of Hanover, MB, she later met and married her soul mate Dick on June 5, 1954 and raised their three children. Working at a few various jobs, she also actively participated with her church. We will all remember her as a kind hearted person with always a smile on her face. She will be terribly missed by everybody. The family wishes to thank the staff of St. Boniface Hospital, Palliative Care Program, and CancerCare Manitoba. A special thank you goes out to family friend Kim plus Colleen, Myrna, Eleanor, Karen, Joanne, Glenda, Sara and all the doctors, nurses and heath care aides that had a part in Moms care. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8 at 10:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 1311 Dakota St. with Pastor Larry Ulrich officiating. Interment will take place in the Garden of Devotion at Glen Lawn Memorial Garden after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Faith Lutheran Memorial Fund, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
