LENA HNATCHUK July 18, 1920 - November 6, 2003 Sadly, we announce the passing of our dear mother, sister, grandmother, great-grand-mother, aunt and friend. "Lee" will be lovingly remembered by her two children, Sharon and husband David Samson, George Cudmore; sister Jennie Larsen; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Lee retired from The Bay in 1980. She enjoyed her retirement years going to White Lake, playing bingo and just enjoyed being with people. Mom was a wonderful crafts person knitting and crocheting and taught many her skills. We are going to miss all her handy work. Moms last few years were enjoyed by going on excursions every Saturday, shopping weekends in Grand Forks and gambling trips to Warroad with Sharon. Mom will be remembered for her generous heart to all of us. The family wishes to thank the nurses in the ICU and N3 at the Concordia Hospital. In accordance with Moms wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association.
