IVAN B. BISHOP 1920 - 2003 On November 6, 2003, Ivan B. Bishop, age 83 years, passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital. Ivan is survived by his sister Evelyn Towers; his son Greg and daughter-in-law Janet. Ivan was predeceased by his wife Verna; his parents and brother Ron. Ivan was born January 9, 1920 in Moncton, NB. He moved to Manitoba where he met and married his beloved wife Verna Storey. He worked as the Manager at The Marlborough Hotel, Traffic Manager at Scott Bathgate and Yard Manager for Manitoba Bridge/ Dominion Bridge. Ivan loved nature and loved to be one with nature. He camped and canoed much of Northwestern Ontario. Ivan retired from Dominion Bridge in 1982 and bought a cottage on Ena Lake near Minaki, ON. In accordance with Ivans wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 10 at 10:00 a.m at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. A private family committal will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Morden, MB.
