GERTRUDE IRENE COATES (nee NEALEY) After a short, courageous battle with cancer, with her family by her side, we sadly announce the passing of our Mom on Tuesday, November 4, 2003 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by her husband Richard and son Douglas. Irene is survived by her children, Dick, Sandra and Stuart and their spouses; brother John Nealey; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the CancerCare MB Breast Cancer Research, ON1160 - 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 17 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment and reception will follow.
