SYLVIA NEMETCHEK Peacefully, at the Victoria General Hospital, Sylvia passed away on November 7, 2003 at the age of 77 years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Thomas in 2000. She is survived by her children, Jannette (Russell) Scott, Bev (Edwin) Reimer, Ron (Barb), Mervin (Carolyne), Glenn (Karol), nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and one sister, numerous other relatives and friends. In 1938 Sylvia came to Canada from Poland. They settled in the Ravensworth District. They moved to Winnipeg in 1965. She worked for Manitoba Hydro as a cleaner and also worked in food services for the University of Manitoba. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 12, Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (South of the Royal Canadian Mint) with Pastor Glenn Nemetchek officiating. Viewing will be held a half-hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.
