Date of Passing: Nov 06, 2003
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY LAVINIA BOURKE (nee TOPHAM) July 15, 1927 - November 6, 2003 "Last Day on Earth, First Day in Heaven." We are deeply saddened but truly blessed to have witnessed the wonderful life and passing of our beloved mother and friend. Marys rich life came to a peaceful end after a brief illness. Predeceased by her beloved husband Tren (in July). Survived and greatly missed by her daughter Susan, son Timothy (Ginette), grandson Tristan, friend of 74 years Joyce and many nieces, nephews and friends. Born in Winnipeg she lived a life of service to others: active member of the Anglican Church, longtime member of the Rebekah Assembly of Canada and the Order of the Eastern Star, Guide Leader, hospital volunteer and always lovingly involved with her childrens activities. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. J. Lea, Dr. M. Boldt and all of the nurses and staff of Lions Gate Hospitals ICU and ER for their wonderful care and support. The family would like to invite everyone to join them in a celebration of her life on Friday, November 14 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Catherines Anglican Church in North Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations to be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 565 W. 10th Ave., North Vancouver, V5Z 4J4. The unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit... is of great worth in Gods sight. - 1 Peter 3:4
