ARTHUR JESSE DENTON On Sunday, November 9, 2003, at the Portage District General Hospital, Arthur Jesse Denton, of Oakville, MB, widower of the late Grace Denton, passed away at the age of 81 years. Funeral service will be held Friday, November 14 at 2:00 p.m. at the Knox United Church, Oakville, with Judy Limpright officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in Chapel Lawn Cemetery. Predeceased by his wife Grace in 1993; two brothers, Leslie and Ralph; and five sisters, Anna Webster, Margaret Vint, Rosella Buchanan, Jean Limback and Kathleen Leader. Art leaves to mourn his passing his two daughters, Karen (Ron) Harris of Winnipeg, granddaughters, Krista and Angela, Catherine (Ross) Ballantine of Vita, MB; and grandsons, David (Lindsey) and Christopher (Angela) and the newest apple of his eye, great-granddaughter Abby; his three sons, James and John, both of Winnipeg, and Howard of British Columbia; also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
