GEORGINA SMITH Peacefully on November 7, 2003, Georgina Smith passed away at Riverview Health Centre. Georgina was predeceased by her loving husband Philip in 2001. Georgina is survived by her sister Lillian Fairlie; nephews and niece, Bryn and Maria Fairlie and family of Calgary, Daryl Fairlie and Dennis MacLean and family of Winnipeg. Georgina was born May 2, 1921 in Winnipeg. She was employed in the garment industry, but chose to become a homemaker after marrying Philip in 1949. Her family was the most important part of her life and she enjoyed all family gatherings and special family occasions. The family would like to acknowledge the care provided by St. Boniface Oncology and the nursing and support staff of Riverview. Funeral services will be held on Friday November 14 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment and reception to follow.
