Date of Passing: Nov 10, 2003
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMATTHEW DAVID BAILEY Matthew David Bailey, aged 25, first-born beloved son of Monica and Brian Bailey, dearly loved brother of Andrew and Thomas, died suddenly in hospital on November 10, 2003. Also mourning his death are grandma Frieda Roth; aunt Jean Blake, aunts and uncles; Marie and Bruce Bailey, Pam and John Roth, Erica and Tim Maunula, and cousins, John, Katherine, Olivia, and Sophia. How to capture Matthew in a few words? He was someone you couldnt help loving. Always good-natured and peace-loving, he was a big brother to more than Andy and Tom. He loved his many friends and would do anything he could to help them. He loved sports, both as a participant and an observer, and was looking forward to going to the Grey Cup. He loved fishing and the outdoors, and spent many summers working at Luther Village. His warm acceptance of everyone he met was experienced by his booming voice, his bear hugs, and his infectious laughter. He lived life to the fullest, enjoyed what he was doing, and no matter what, was always true to himself. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 13 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Marks Lutheran Church, 600 Cambridge at Corydon, with a reception immediately following at the Crescentwood Community Club, 1170 Corydon Ave. No flowers please. Donations may be made to St. Marks Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, or to a charity of your choosing. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
