Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY SIANCHUK 1912 - 2003 Surrounded by her loving children, our dear mother was peacefully embraced by the Lord on Monday, November 10, 2003 at the Holy Family Nursing Home in Winnipeg. Mary was born January 15, 1912 to Onufry and Helen Picklyk. In 1938 she was united in marriage to William Sianchuk. After living in Shortdale, MB for several years, they moved to Dauphin where they raised their three children. Mary enjoyed working in her garden and took pride in her crafts. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, floral arranging. Her talents were appreciated by many. She was a devoted member of the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Resurrection and member of the Ladies League. She took pleasure in devoting her time to her loving husband Bill, her children and her grandchildren. She was truly a woman who touched everyones heart. Mary was predeceased by her husband Bill in 1995, she leaves in her loving memory to her son Alex Sianchuk and his wife Louise; daughter Alice and her husband John Antoniuk and son Anthony Sianchuk and his wife Gaylene, all of Winnipeg. There are eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Prayers and viewing will be held on Friday, November 14 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel. Divine Liturgy will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 15 at St. Josephs Church officiated by Marys nephew Rev. John Sianchuk C.Ss.R. followed by interment at Dauphin Riverside Cemetery. Pallbearers are grandsons, Jason Sianchuk, William Antoniuk, Michael Antoniuk, David Borger; nephews, John Picklyk, Merv Picklyk. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for the loving care given by the Holy Family Nursing Home, 3rd floor staff for the love and compassion in making our dear mother as comfortable as possible. We were blessed by the many visits by Fr. John Sianchuk and the thoughtfulness of the many prayers by the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate and the caring concerns of the staff members of Holy Family. Along the road you journey The path is shining bright And there before you stands Jesus With Daddy at his side. Open arms outstretching As He welcomes you to Him Hand in hand Jesus leads you Through the golden gates with Him. The Holy Mother sees you With your rosary in your hand And smiles as you pass her To where the angels stand. The heavenly gardens with all the angels Rejoice with you today. They sing songs so sweetly On this your glorious day. We know that youre in heaven With Daddy at your side And when you look down at us And see our tearful eyes Youll see the smile within us And will know our faith is strong. And one day well all be together And sing that joyful song. "With all our love"
