ALBERT ALLAN WHEELER February 5, 1939 - November 12, 2003 I want to take this time to share the life of an extraordinary man, my father, Albert Wheeler. Sadly he passed away on November 12, after a long hard battle with cancer and kidney disease. Albert was son of Jack Wheeler and Lorraine Oberfeld; brother of Harry Wheeler, and Shelia (Susan) Freund; husband to Isobel Miller; uncle to Darren Freund, Don Wheeler, Darrel Wheeler, Brenda Sokal, Clinton Paetkau, Louis Paetkau, Stephanie Porteous, and Meaghan Wylie. Brother-in-law to Ed Freund, Doreen Wheeler, Agnes Porteous, Dave Wylie, and future son-in-law Norm Vien. He was the father of Tracey and Trevor Wheeler, a grandfather to Dylan Vien, and finally a friend to all those who knew him. To all those who know him he was a strong-willed, gentle, sociable proud and kind man, who put all others before himself. He never complained and always had a smile on his face. He was always telling people, and showing people pictures of his family that he loved so much. He will be forever loved and missed by everyone who he had touched in his life. Dad, we all love you and miss you, you will forever be in our thoughts and in our prayers.
