LETA JOY AISMAN On November 12, 2003 at the Selkirk General Hospital, Joy Aisman, aged 73 years, of Selkirk, passed away. Joy was predeceased by her husband James in 1985 and a great-grandchild, Montana in 2002. She leaves surviving two daughters, Judith Craig (Paul) of Yellowknife and Diane Cole (Gary) of Selkirk; one son Bill (Cindy) of Selkirk; four grandchildren, Pamela (Steve), Scott (Crystal), Jodie and Riley and one sister Betty Wood of Nipawin, SK and her dog Duchess. Joy was born in Moose Jaw, SK on February 28, 1930 to the late William and Eleanor Coreau. She loved her gardening and flowers and working with bedding plants in her greenhouse. The one thing that she enjoyed the most was visits from her grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 17 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with Pastor Stan Richards officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Clements Cemetery. The family would like to express special thanks to the staff on the Surgery Ward at the Selkirk General Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joys memory can be made to Arc Industries, 306 Jemima St., Selkirk, MB R1A 1X1. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
