SOPHIE MARY KEIN (nee DOERN) With great sadness we advise the sudden passing of our mother and grandmother on Wednesday November 12, 2003, at the Health Sciences Centre, at the age of 78 years. She leaves her family to cherish her memory, Marilyn and Sheldon Gilchrist; Harvey and Cate Kein and their children, Jenna and Jacquelyn; Dale and Bev Kein and their children, Daniel and Chantel; Debbie and Raphael Masi and their children, Sergio, Nikki, Kristina and Gino. She also leaves behind her sister Lily Schultz and her brother Walter Doern, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mom was predeceased by Dad (Gordon) in 1980; her sisters, Caroline, Edith, Emma, Violet, Theresa, and Dorothy; and her brothers, Fred, William & Eddie. Family was very precious to Mom, she was always delighted when relatives and friends visited, and was quick to put together a small feast. She had a great attitude and made the best of any situation. Her strong faith in God helped her throughout life. She enjoyed helping others and was an active member of the Morris community. She will be missed. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 15 at 2:00 p.m. in the Lutheran Church of the Cross in Morris. Pastor Gary Russell officiating. Interment in the Morris Cemetery.
