JEAN ANN HOLOWATY (nee DURBACZ) After a long and brave struggle with Alzheimers disease, Jean Ann Holowaty passed away at the Fred Douglas Lodge Nursing Home at the age of 89 years. Jean is survived by her sisters, Helen Paluch of Winnipeg and Hedy Keller of Toronto. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Sam (2002) brothers, John, Andrew, Kasper, Frank and Joe; and sister Sophie. Jean bowled for many years at St. John Cantius five pin lanes and loved to play cards with her numerous friends. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, November 18 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 19 at 10:30 a.m. also at the chapel with Msgr. Stan Jaworski officiating. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at the Fred Douglas Lodge, Willow Unit for all their loving care and attention.
