FEATHERSTONE February 4, 1937 - November 17, 2003 Peacefully at home November 17, 2003, Gordon Featherstone our beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away. Gordon was born at the Misericordia Hospital to Armadine and Harry Featherstone. He attended St. Edward School, Ralph Brown, Faraday, and Tec-Voc. He worked in industry for several years before acquiring his teaching degree and joined the staff of his Alma Mater as Vice-Principal in 1974 - 1975 and became the 6th principal of Tec-Voc, until early retirement. Beside his loving wife Barbara of 44 years he is survived by his sons, Glen and Donald; grandchildren Lee-Anne and Graham; brother Bob (Linda) Featherstone; sister Francis (Felix) Haynes and their children as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Daren; sister May; and parents Harry and Armadine; as well as his in-laws. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the first responders and the doctors and nurses at the St. Boniface Hospital. A memorial service will take place on Thursday, November 20 at 7:00 p.m. in the Garry Memorial Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. According to Gordons wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House, 566 Bannatyne Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 0G7. The greatest gift I ever had Came from God, I call him Dad.
