MICHAEL GERMAINE Peacefully on November 20, 2003, Michael Germaine passed at the Deer Lodge Centre at the age of 77 years. Mike is survived by brothers, Steve and Peter; nephews, Peter, Darryl and Erin; nieces, Sylvia, Cindy, Greta and Gwen; sister-in-law Lorraine; and other relatives. He was predeceased by his wife Toni; and son Chad; brothers, Eugene and Harry; sister Nettie. Mike was born on August 29, 1926 in Poplar Park, MB, where his family farmed until the 1950s. He married Toni Bednarchyk in Beausejour and moved to St. Boniface where they resided for many years. He was employed by the Maple Leaf Mills for 34 years. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 25 at 12:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. also at the chapel. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at the Deer Lodge Centre 4 East Ward for their care and compassion and also friends Ivy and Carter.
