Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBEATRICE (BETTY) STELLA PATERSON Peacefully in her sleep after a short illness, Beatrice (Betty) Stella Paterson passed away November 19, 2003 at the age of 85 years. Beatrice was born October 28, 1918 in Mansfield, England to parents Thomas Callis Simons and Hannah Stella Simons. Betty met her husband Edward during the Second World War when they were both stationed at the same air force base in England. Betty later moved to Headingley, MB where they married and resided, building a greenhouse business. Edward passed away in 1987. Betty will be sadly missed and remembered by daughter Sandra Leclerc (Marcel) sons, Dean Paterson (Pam), David Paterson (Madelon), Doug Paterson (Pat) grandson Christopher; granddaughters, Jennifer and Michelle; sister-in-law Edna Paterson; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family is grateful to the Grace Hospital and staff for their kind care. A funeral service of remembrance will be held on Monday, November 24 at 12:30 p.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Reception to follow.
