MARGARET FINISHIN Peacefully on Friday, November 21, 2003, Margaret Finishin beloved, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. Margaret was born in Rama, Saskatchewan. She married Philip Finishen on May 22, 1932 and together they farmed in Rama. In 1953 they moved to Winnipeg where she worked in the garment industry and raised her family. She loved going to bingo and the casino and spending time with her family. Margaret leaves to mourn and cherish her memory her five daughters, Anne (Nick Klimchuk), Victoria (Alex Klimchuk), Sophie (Myron Klym), Marjorie (Terry Prychitko), Joyce (Philip Nahuliak) 14 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren and numerous relatives. She was predeceased by her husband Philip and infant son Jack. The family would like to thank Victoria Life Line and The First Responders, Simpson and Reimer of Winnipeg Police, Chaplain Maxwell Ryan from the Salvation Army and the Grace Hospital Emergency staff. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in her memory to your charity of choice. Prayers will be sung 7:00 p.m. Monday, November 24 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main Street. Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 25 also at the chapel, with Rev. N. Yakiwchuk officiating. Interment to follow in Glen Eden Cemetery.
