ROBERT (BOB) GEORGE PEARSON Born in Winnipeg January, 17, 1915. Died November 20, 2003 after a lengthy illness at Seven Oaks Hospital. Bob was predeceased by his father George Pearson (1964), Mother Florence Pearson (1965} and Daughter Susan Quigley in October 2001. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Gertrude Pearson (McKee}, son Bob Pearson, daughter-in-law Marlene Pearson (McMillan), grandsons Rob and Glen, son-in-Law Don Quigley, grandson Chris, granddaughter Alison Quigley and sister Ellen Swanson and numerous nieces and nephew. Bob was a lifelong resident of West Kildonan living within a block of where he grew up except for service with the RCAF from 1939 to 1945. He served in the British Isles and Ceylon. He was a past master of the Seven Oaks Masonic lodge, a member of the West Kildonan Legion, a former Square and round dance caller and dancer. A longtime member of St. Annes Anglican Church and had been an ardent community volunteer throughout his life. His memorial service will be held at St Annes Anglican Church on Burrin and Aitkins on Tuesday November 25 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. David Adams officiating. Internment of ashes will be held Wednesday, November 26 at 11 a.m. at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Annes Anglican Church or the charity of your choice.
