Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCLIO MARY SARIDOU Clio Mary Saridou passed away peacefully, Friday, November 21, 2003. Clio is lovingly remembered by her son George Popow (Denise Doucette) and grandsons Nolan and Tibor; her son Victor Popow; her sister-in-law Olympia Saridies and her long time friend and companion Julia Boone. Clio was born September 28, 1932 in Jerusalem. In 1950, she and her husband immigrated to Winnipeg with their newborn son. As well as raising her two sons, Clio worked for many years in the Fine Fragrances department at Eatons Polo Park. After retirement, Clio fulfilled her dreams of travel and enjoyed many trips to places around the world. She also continued to nourish and entertain her family and friends by her flair with and love of various ethnic cuisines. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation for the care provided to Clio by Doctor Peschken and all of the staff on R6 at the Rehab Hospital. Also, many thanks to her hear friend Dawne Comstock who rarely missed a day of visiting during Clios lengthy hospital stay. A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 25 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. A private interment will be held. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, charitable donations in Clios memory may be made to The Arthritis Society-Manitoba Division, 386 Broadway, Suite 105, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3R6. We will miss you.
