ERIC MANTHEY It is with great sadness that we announce Eric Manthey passed away suddenly Saturday, November 22, 2003 at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 46. Eric is missed and survived by his daughter Jasmin Marshall, his brother Brian (Debbie) Manthey, his girlfriend of many years, Lorelei. He will also be missed by his grandfather Erwin Manthey; uncles, Theo, Dieter and Hekka; aunts, Lydia, Rita and Anita. Also by his grandmother Merri Lehvonen, as well as many cousins. He was predeceased by his mother Seija and his father Henry. Eric had a great joy of life, and enjoyed his many passions. He enjoyed the outdoors, travelling and most recently a passion for motorcycles. Eric was a very passionate man and the one person that was never far from his mind was his daughter. It was not very often you found Eric without a guitar in his hand strumming his favourite blues tune. Anybody who knew him knew he was a very animated person, full of life. He was never at a loss for words for any occasion and he knew how to make the most difficult thing easier to handle. He always knew how to relate and understand because of his life challenges. Goodbye Mr. Breeze, you will be missed and remembered in our hearts and memories forever. There will be a funeral service on Thursday, November 27 at 1:30 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery.
