EVA MARIE OLSON (nee MEDD) 1917 - 2003 It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Eva Marie on Saturday, November 22, 2003 at the Beacon Hill Lodge. Eva Marie was predeceased by her husband Martin; daughter Carol Janice; parents, Dr. Alfred, and Mrs. Mary Agnes Medd; brothers, Dr. Dallas, Howard, and Peter Medd. She leaves to mourn her passing her children, Elinor (Jean-Pierre), Martin Jr., Ronald (Laurie), Marilyn (Malcolm), Eva Louise (Benny), Tannis (Joe) Cheryl (Wolfgang), and Eric (Caroline) 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Eva Marie also leaves behind her sister Edna, and many extended family members and friends. At Evas request cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 28 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 709 St. Marys Rd., with The Rev. Martha McDowell officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in the family plot at St. Vital Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
