ROBERT BRUCE SIM On November 21, 2003 at the Grace Hospital. Bruce Sim, aged 86 years, beloved husband of Vera of Winnipeg. Bruce was born in Winnipeg in 1917. He joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 1942 and met Vera, his wife, in England in 1943 and married her in 1944. He returned to Canada in 1946 and worked for the Investigation Dept. of the C.P. Railway for 35 years before his retirement. He found time for hobbies, woodworking, gardening and travelling and his grandchildren will remember him for his wonderful doll houses, and his great interest in their lives. Predeceased by his parents, Robert and Violet Sim; his brothers, George, Jack and Gordon; and his sister Frances. Survived by his wife Vera; son Robert (Cathie) daughters, Kathryn (Claude), Sheila (Bill) and his five grandchildren, Carolyn (Charles), Jillian, Blake, Sara and Alexander. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, November 26 at 2:00 p.m. in Christ Church Anglican Church, 1735 Corydon Ave., with Rev. Murray Still officiating.
