Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHARVEY WILLIAM YOUNG (ABBIE) Suddenly, with his family at his side, Harvey William Young passed away at the Health Sciences Centre on Sunday, November 23, 2003 at the age of 49 years. Harvey was born at Bloodvein on October 25, 1954, making his home at Bloodvein and at Seymourville. Harvey enjoyed the outdoors and loved hunting and fishing. In his early years, Harvey was with the cadets. He had a passion for hockey and speed skating in which he won a trophy for his athletic skills. Harvey had a great sense of humour and always enjoyed teasing his family and friends. His favourite song was "How Beautiful Heaven Must Be." His favourite saying was "Manat." Harvey enjoyed making bannock and cooking for his boys. He leaves to cherish his beautiful memory his wife Florence of 24 years; three sons, George, Kevin and Dean; two daughters, Jennifer and Myrna; three grandchildren, Little Jay, Jordan and Sequioya; his father Albert Young; two brothers, William Young (Bonnie) and Herman Young; five sisters, Mary Cowley (Ted) and family, Martha Bushie (Ambrose) and family, Rebecca Bushie and family, Doreen Raven (Larry) and family, Linda Ford (John) and family. There are numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and his best cousin, Danny Young; in-laws and many friends. He was predeceased by one son Jason Darcey Young; mother Sarah Young; brother Francis; and sister Aileen in infancy. Harvey, Herman and William had a strong brotherly bond and were always there for one another. Prayers were said on Monday, November 24 at 7:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave. at Parr, in Winnipeg. Wake services will be held Tuesday, November 25, Wednesday, November 26, Thursday, November 27 at Rebecca Bushies residence, Hollow Water. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 28 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Marguerite Roman Catholic Church, Hollow Water, with Fr. Laval Cloutier officiating.
