EUGENIA BELAND It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister and aunt Eugenia Beland. She was predeceased by her husband Gerald; father Samuel; mother Mary; sisters, Elsie and Lynn and brother Walter. She leaves to mourn her passing her sister Anna Norris and many loving nieces and nephews. Eugenia was born in Winnipeg on September 15, 1920. She grew up in a loving and compassionate home and was a devoted and loving wife to Gerald. Geralds profession gave them the wonderful opportunity to live and travel many places throughout Canada, the United States and Europe. Their last home together was in Seattle. Eugenia returned to Winnipeg after Gerald passed away. She has spent many happy years surrounded by her family. Our dear aunty Jean was a lovely, creative and generous person and we will always be grateful for the gift of her presence in our lives. The family would like to express our sincere gratitude to the wonderful nursing staff at the Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg who helped our dear aunt pass from this world with the same dignity and grace that she lived her life. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 28 at 11:00 a.m. with Charlette Novak officiating. Interment to follow at All Saints Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery. I have been a long time gone... Grieve briefly if you must, But know that I am free. Im following paths God laid for me. The greatest sorrow and heart break be, To say good-bye to my family. God hath not promised sun without rain, Joy with sorrow, peace without pain. But God hath promised strength for the day, Rest for the weary and light for the way. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
