Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJUNE LORNA MARY ROSS (nee ROURKE) June passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 30, 2003 at Providence Centre, Toronto in her 79th year. June was born in Winnipeg in 1925 and moved to Ontario when she married her husband Columbus David Ross in 1945 on his return from the Second World War. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Ross, Judy (Larry) Griffiths; grandchildren, Christina Trovato and Kenneth Trovato; sister Myrna-Lou McGregor of Winnipeg; sister-in-law Dorothy Carroll and lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and especially by all her friends in Toronto and Winnipeg areas who were an important part of her life. She was predeceased by her husband David Ross; sister Doris Vernon; and her parents Alphaeus and Irene Rourke. A private family service was held in Toronto. Her battle of cancer was a long and courageous one.

Hey mum, just thought I would talk to you a bit-- miss you alot, have dreams of you and Dad, it gives me alot of comfort to see you even if it means going to sleep, you have two beautiful great grandchildren, Oliver Trovato he is 8 now, and Elizabeth Trovato who is 5. I am hoping to see you again one day in heaven, because I know that you and Dad are together there. When I pass the Tridel Condo's I always turn my head to the building where you and Dad lived.
