ROBERT JAMES (TIM) MOFFATT Peacefully, on Saturday, November 22, 2003, Robert James Moffatt passed away at the Seven Oaks General Hospital at the age of 95 years. He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Denise Robinson (Doug) grandsons, Tim (Brenda) and Sean; great-grandchildren, Mikaela (mother, Kara), Cody, Taylor and Jordan; as well as several nieces and nephews. Dad was predeceased by Mom, Nan (Boyce) great-granddaughter Jasmine; sisters, Margaret (Caroll) Vance, Jess (Fred) Sutton, Jean (Bob) Jamieson, Eleanor (Frank) Farnham and Mabel (Ray) Orr. Dad was born on November 1, 1908 in Elm Creek, MB to Robert and Margaret Moffatt. He joined the Bank of Commerce on May 31, 1928 and retired October 31, 1968. He served in the Airforce during the Second World War as Squadron Leader-Acct.Section. An avid sportsman, he played semi-pro hockey and in later years enjoyed golf and bowling. Mom and Dad spent seven years as Texas Snowbirds and many wonderful summers at the cottage in Sandy Hook. The family wishes to thank the nurses in Observation and Unit 7, 3rd floor at Seven Oaks Hospital and are especially grateful to Dr. Jamie Boyd and staff for their care and compassion. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Bernadette Parish, 820 Cottonwood Rd., Windsor Park, on Saturday, November 29 at 11:00 a.m. Msgr. McCloskey and Fr. Fred Olds will concelebrate the mass. The service will terminate at the church and cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of ones choice.
