Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPOLLY CHWARTACKI (nee SIEDLECKI) On Wednesday, November 26, 2003 at the Selkirk General Hospital, our dear mother, grandmother and aunt passed away at the age of 93 years. She leaves to mourn her passing one son John, 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Yadwega and Mazko; husband Peter; brothers, Mike and John; sister Mary Korolyk; friend Bill Todoruk; son Walter; daughter Nellie Pawluk; as well as two great-grandchildren. Polly was born May 18, 1910. She grew up, married and raised her family in the Winnipeg Beach area. After the passing of her husband, she moved to Roblin where she lived for 25 years. She then moved to Alberta to live with her son. Polly returned to Manitoba to live out her remaining years at Red River Place in Selkirk. Polly enjoyed life to the fullest and looked forward to her family visiting her at the home. At Pollys request, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. Interment of ashes will be held at a later date. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Red River Place Personal Care Home and the Selkirk General Hospital for all the care and compassion shown to Polly. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
