Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) KRAWCHUK Peacefully, on Wednesday, November 26, 2003 Bill Krawchuk passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital, at the age of 85. Bill was born on June 4, 1918 in Winnipeg. Bill was raised in Winnipegs North End. He was fortunate to enjoy good health for many years. He rode his bike all the way to Winnipeg Beach and back in his younger days! He was very dedicated and hardworking, devoting 30 years of his working career to the CP Railway until his retirement. He took great pride in his home and garden. Bill was a very kind and gentle soul whose quiet presence will be greatly missed. Left to cherish his memory are family members, Kaz Gacek; Ken, Marlene and Kent Martin; Brenda Gacek; Wayne, Maxine, Dustin, Joshua and Ellea Gacek; Karen and Mitch Glugosh; Theresa, Wayne, Drake and Shayleen Sampson; Cynthia, Larry and Kayla Wandowich, all of Winnipeg. He will also be lovingly remembered by his cousin Sister Mary Ann Kusy of North Bay; and friends, Dennis and Carol Wilson. He was predeceased by his parents; his wife Pauline; brothers, Sam and Paul; sisters, Stella and Anna; and niece Joyce. Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 29 at 10:00 a.m. at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. with Rev. N. Yakiwchuk officiating. Interment to follow at Holy Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bills memory to a charity of ones choice. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the care givers on 3A from the Holy Family Nursing Home for their care and support during his residency. Thanks for the years you gave us and for the happy times we shared. We pray that when you left us, you knew how much we cared. Heaven is forever changed. You are reunited with those gone before.
