Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEVELYNE HOLLOWAY Peacefully, on Thursday, November 27, 2003, Evelyne Holloway of Stonewall and formerly of Balmoral, MB. Evelyne was born March 10, 1916. She spent most of her life in Balmoral. Predeceased by her parents; brother Howard; sister Edna; husband Richard; son Leonard; and family friend Jacy MacGregor. Evelyne will be missed by many, daughter-in-law Tannis; grandchildren, Teresa, Jeff and Kevin; sisters-in-law, Vivian MacKenzie and Margaret Peacock; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as special family friends, Paulette and Gary MacGregor; their daughter Korrie and her family. Evelyne and Richard were married in 1946. They resided in Balmoral and together raised their only child Leonard. An active community member, Evelyne was a longtime hospital guild member. Everyone in Balmoral knew her door was always open because she enjoyed having company. Wed like to thank Joan and Reg Main for being more than her neighbours. The last couple of years Evelyne resided at Lions Manor in Stonewall. While she was there she had many friends who always looked out for her. The family would like to thank Dr. Kanji and the staff at Stonewall and District Health Centre for their kind care and consideration; as well as the home care staff who helped Evelyne stay at home these last few months. Special thanks to Paulette and Gary. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 1 at 2:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Evelynes name to the Stonewall and District Health Centre Foundation. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
