SARAH (SADIE) KELLY Peacefully on Nov-ember 27, 2003 at Rock Lake Hospital in Crystal City, MB, Sadie Kelly, aged 88 years of Pilot Mound, MB, after a short illness, with her family at her bedside. Sadie was born in Winnipeg on May 14, 1915, the eldest daughter of Rose and Alex Kovnats. She lived most of her life in Winnipeg, Betula Lake, and Pilot Mound. She was predeceased by her beloved husband John; her sons, David and Gary; her sister Nina Zaroian; and her parents. She is survived by her son Jack and wife Diane; her daughter-in-law Joyce; eight grandchildren, Terry, Jody, Tim (Rene), Robbie (Zena), Kathryn, Sandra, Patrick (Annette), and Heather (Richard) six great-grandchildren, Kelly, Samantha, Maia, Nickolas, Riley and Dallas. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Ruth Lovering, and many nieces and nephews. Sadie enjoyed all card games, cribbage, bingo, reading, and crocheting. She was an enthusiastic quilter and enjoyed travelling. She and John spent many winters in Yuma, AZ. The family would like to express their thanks to Candy Harkness, her shuffleboard and card playing friends at Prairie View Lodge and to the many people who assisted with her rides. We would also like to thank the ambulance staff, the staff at Rock Lake Hospital and at Prairie View Lodge. Cremation has taken place. In accordance with Sadies expressed wishes there will be no formal funeral service.
