CONNIE SIGURDSON
Date of Passing: Oct 29, 2003
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCONNIE SIGURDSON Connie passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2003, at Langley Memorial Hospital, Langley, BC. She will be sadly missed by her best friend Nancy Lees, of Langley, sister Ida (Fred) MacPherson, of Winnipeg, and brother Hal (Lorraine) of Gimli, MB, as well as eight nieces and nephews and 14 great-nieces and great-nephews. Connie was born in Churchbridge, SK, and began her working life in Winnipeg with the Department of National Defence. In 1959, she moved to Vancouver, continuing her career with the federal government until her retirement in 1981. Connie loved to cook, enjoyed travelling, especially cruising and was an avid reader until her vision no longer allowed her to continue. Although Connie was faced with many medical challenges in her life, she never complained and always kept her dry sense of humour. At Connies request, no service was held. Cremation has taken place, her remains will be interred with her parents in Churchbridge. In lieu of flowers, donations in Connies memory may be made to the CNIB. Arrangements by Hendersons Funeral Home (604) 530-6488, Langley. May God grant her eternal rest.
