DR. WILLIAM JOHN (JACK) ROSS On Tuesday, November 25, Dr. William John (Jack) Ross, beloved husband of Marlene Ross and loving father to Leanne, Susanne, and Brian, passed away suddenly. He dearly loved his two grandchildren, Damian and Madeleine. Dr. Ross was 73 years old. He was born in Eriksdale, MB, in 1930. He graduated as a medical doctor in 1957 and practiced medicine in Winnipeg for 20 years. On moving to San Antonio in 1978, he practiced industrial medicine which he dearly loved. After retirement in 1998, he enjoyed playing numerous musical instruments, traveling and seeing old friends, and meeting new ones. Dr. Ross had a great sense of humour. He was preceded in death by his two sons, Gary and David; his parents, Mary and Jack Ross; and brother Charles. He is survived by his wife and immediate family, brother Fred Ross and wife Laura; sister Carol Anderson and husband Albert; sister Enid Gledhill and husband Stuart; cousins, Lynne and Bob McGregor; dear aunt Dot; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins. Special thanks to Dr. Amy Lang who helped keep him alive this past year. We are so proud of you Jack. You put up a good fight for a whole year right to the end. We love you Jack and always will. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
