Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNA KLIMCHUK On Friday, November 28, 2003, at the Health Sciences Centre, Anna Klimchuk passed away at the age of 92 years, dearly beloved wife of the late William Klimchuk who predeceased her on Wednesday, December 1, 1982. Annas memory will be forever cherished, and lovingly remembered by her only daughter Sophie (Sonia) Hughes-Games and her husband Leslie, her nieces and nephews, along with their respective families, Anne and John Borysowich, Carol, Steve, and Kevin Senuik. Irene, Don, and Amanda Thompson, Allan and Gabe Borysowich, and Raymond, Darrel, and Alexandra who very dearly loved her. She will also be very lovingly remembered by her family, and friends in the Ukraine, and New York, U.S.A. Besides her husband William, Anna was also predeceased by both her parents; sister Tekla; brothers, Vladimir and Stefan. Anna was born on Thursday, January 12, 1911 in Lecha Sokol near Lvov, Ukraine. She lived her early life in the Ukraine, and immigrated to Canada in 1929, where she married her late husband, William. She was a very active member in her community, and contributed a great deal as a member of the Association of the United Ukrainian Canadians. Anna also participated in Folklorama, the seniors group, and the Barvinok Ukrainian Choir. Singing gave Anna so much pleasure, and she was prepared to give a helping hand wherever and whenever it was necessary. Gardening was of particular interest, as she enjoyed the pleasure of growing vegetables, and flowers, and sharing the fruits of her labour with her many friends. Anna contributed much to her kin in the Ukraine. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her and loved her. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, December 2 (tonight) at 7:00 p.m., at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 3 at 1:00 p.m., also at the funeral chapel, with interment following at Brookside Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be messrs: Kevin Senuik, Raymond, and Allan Borysowich, Peter Shaluk, Joseph Medzan, and Dan Halabura. The Barvinok Ukrainian Choir will be in attendance at the funeral service to bid a final farewell to one of their cherished members. VICHNAYA PAMYAT KNYSH FUNERAL CHAPEL 1020 MAIN STREET 582-0973
