Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLORRAINE EUGENIE LEVACQUE (nee NAULT) Peacefully, on November 30, 2003, Lorraine Levacque passed away at St. Boniface General Hospital at the age of 70. Lorraine will be forever missed by her two daughters, Kathy (Marleen) of Winnipeg, Jackie (Denis) and grandchildren, David and Rachel of St. George; her brother Norman (Karoline) of Winnipeg; her sister Evelyn (Denis) of St. Pierre-Jolys; her two aunts, Anastasia and Gertrude (Lawrence) of St. Malo. Lorraine is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Lorraine was predeceased by her parents, Leontine and Eugene; and her beloved sister Claudette. Lorraine was born on October 2, 1933 in St. Pierre-Jolys. She was a loving, spirited woman whose caring, generosity and passion for life affected all those who came in contact with her. Lorraine was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed nothing more than sharing stories and joyous times with those around her, especially when she hosted her famous Reveillons. Her two grandchildren gave her such immense joy, evident by her unconditional love, and that sparkle in her eyes. Lorraine was a long time member of the Norwood Legion where she enjoyed the companionship of many good friends who will miss her dearly. Lorraine had an insatiable appetite for reading, crocheting magnificent pieces for her two daughters, playing cards and Crokinole with anyone willing to lose, long drives through the countryside, returning just in time for her story - The Young and The Restless. Cremation has taken place according to Lorraines wishes, and a celebration of her life will take place on December 4 at 1:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Home at 357 DesMeurons St. with interment to follow at St. Boniface Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, and in her memory, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba at 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8.
