Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANK KEYS With great sadness, we announce the passing away of Frank Keys, peacefully on Tuesday, December 2, 2003 at Grace Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Kathleen Mary; his daughters, Janice (John) and Jerri Lynn (Scott) and his five adored grandchildren, Adam, Chelsea, Josh, Kelsey and David. Frank was born September 29, 1917 in Winnipeg. He started his career at City of Winnipeg Hydro in 1934 and continued as Director of Purchasing for the City of Winnipeg. After retiring in 1979, he and his wife spent several happy years on the golf course and travelling to many different parts of the world. For nearly 20 years, they were regular members of the snowbirds at Palm Desert, California. Frank was past president and lifetime honourary member of the Purchasing Management Association of Canada. He was a ham radio operator since 1939, with the call letters VE4DR. He was a member of the Deer Lodge Curling Club and of Breezy Bend Golf and Country Club, where he took part in many talent nights. At Franks request, no funeral service will be held. A private family gathering will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7.
