ARNE SKJOLDEN On Tuesday, December 2, 2003, Arne Skjolden, aged 88, passed away peacefully at the Grace Hospital with his family at his side. Arne was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Inger and his brother Ernest. Left to mourn his passing are his sons, Terje (Berit) of Oslo, Norway, Arne (Sharon) of St. Albert, AB; daughter Randi (Norm) of Winnipeg; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Elsa and Mary and brother Erik. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Arne immigrated to Canada from Oslo, Norway in 1958 and settled in Winnipeg to work and raise his family. He worked in the fur trade as a Master Craftsman Furrier until his retirement in 1985. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held.
