JOSEPH WILLIAM LAVALLEE Peacefully on December 3, 2003, with his sister Clara, also Joyce and Ray by his side at the E.M Crowe Memorial Hospital in Eriksdale MB, Joseph William Lavallee, aged 63 years, of Lundar, MB. Joe (Uncle Boo) was born and was raised in the Minniwaken and Lundar areas. He worked as a farmhand as a young man. Later he moved to Lundar and lived with his brother John until he eventually got his own apartment. Joe enjoyed family get-togethers, meals and visits by friends and family. Joe also made a point of phoning family every day to see how they were doing. We will all miss those calls. Joe is survived by his sisters, Clara, Harriet and Eva; brothers, John, Norman and George; and by many nieces and nephews. Joe was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Helene; brothers, Albert, Tom, Felix and infant brother Clifford; sisters, Bella and Helga. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m on Monday, December 8, at the Arnason Funeral Home in Lundar, MB with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. Service will conclude at the funeral home and interment will be held at a later date in the Minnewaken Cemetery Friends and family are invited to a luncheon at the Lundar Legion Hall at 2:30 p.m. following the funeral service.
