Boast of Winnipeg; sister of Shirley Milner of Winnipeg; mother of Andrea of Vancouver, David of Midland, ON, Gordon of Lakefield, ON, and Leslie of Ottawa; grandmother of Alexander, Allison, David, Katie, Rob, Sarah and Simon; mother-in-law of Jennifer, Pam, Doug and Daniel. She enjoyed her years as a member of the Amberwood Golf & Country Club and her association with her Sunday morning support group. Married to Jack Maitland on August 16, 1943, and both lived happily ever after. A special salute to the wonderful staff at the Granite Ridge Long Term Care Facility in Stittsville. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Ave. at Richmond Road, on Friday, December 5 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, December 6 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society, 20 Eglinton Ave. W., Suite 2000, Toronto, ON M4R 1K8, would be appreciated.
