Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJACINTO DE OLIVEIRA BATISTA November 25, 1936 - December 5, 2003 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father on Friday, December 5, 2003 at the Grace Hospital. Jacinto was born in Leiria, Portugal and immigrated to Canada with his family in 1968. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Maria; his children, Antonio (Debbie), Jose (Lucia), Ivone (Marko) and his grandchildren, Remington and Cameron. He is also survived by his sisters in Portugal, Maria Inacia (Julio), Maria Emilia (Jose Maria), Maria (Joao), numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Grace Hospital for all their care and compassion. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, December 10 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 11 at 10:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. with Rev. Fr. Jose Eduardo Medeiros officiating. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in Jacintos memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
