Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) KARDASH Our family announces with great sorrow the sudden passing of our dearest father on December 3, 2003 at the Peter Lougheed Hospital at the tender age of 61 years. Bill was born in Montreal, QC and moved to Winnipeg at a young age and has made his home in Calgary for the past 20 years. He is survived by his two sons, John (Tiffany), Adam (Crystal) two grandsons, Lucas and Liam and a third grandchild on the way, all of Calgary. He is also survived by his former wife and best friends, Lorraine (Ray) Piraux and many relatives and friends throughout Canada. Bill was predeceased by his father William Manchulenko; his brother Mike Manchulenko and his mother Jennie Manchulenko. Bill was loved and respected by all who knew him. His greatest love, besides his sons and grandsons, was being on the highway in his truck. His chosen profession was a truck driver and he loved it. Bill was an owner/operator for MacCosham Van Lines for approximately 17 years and for the past three years he was with Winnipeg Moving and Storage out of Winnipeg, MB. Bill will be remembered for his fun loving spirit, quick wit and his quiet strength and courage for life. Everyone who knew Bill, knew he wasnt a drinker but could always find him close to the coffee pot. Prayers will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9 at PIERSONS FOREST LAWN CHAPEL, 4121-17 Ave. S.E., Calgary, AB. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 10 at St. Thomas Moore Roman Catholic Church, 15 Templebow Rd. NE, Calgary, AB with Rev. Fr. Robert Kasun, CSB as celebrant. Interment will follow at Rocky View Garden of Peace Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Bills memory to the Variety Club of Southern Alberta, 6, 2016-25 Ave. NE, Calgary, AB T2E 6Z4. I'm Liam, his grandson (Adams son). I was 9 months old when he passed, so I never got the chance to know him/remember him. I came across this at the age of 17, brought tears to my eyes. - Posted by: Liam (grandson ) on: Jan 31, 2020
