LINDA FLOOK On December 7, 2003 Linda passed away at her residence at the age of 72 years. Her memory will be cherished by her son Bruce, his wife Tammy and their son Harrison. She is also survived by her sister Gerty Emery and her family, Dianna (Roy) Hall, Terry Emery and Jane Scott. She was predeceased by her husband David Flook in 1991; her mother Emma Schick in 1999 and her father Gotfried Schick in 1980. Linda was born in Togo, SK, May 22, 1931 and most of her school days were at Roblin, MB. She began working there at the Manitoba Telephone System in 1949. After a few years, she took up residence in Winnipeg. She worked for the Telephone System until 1991 when she retired. She was a life member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. In her retirement she enjoyed travelling throughout Europe, the U.S.A. including Hawaii. She loved visiting with family and friends, including close friends she made at the Manitoba Telephone System. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11 at 1:00 p.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. Interment will follow in St. Vital Cemetery.
