MARIE BERTHA THERESA FASO Suddenly on December 8, 2003, Theresa (nee Clavelle) passed away at the age of 90. She was born in Viscount, SK on April 20, 1913. She was predeceased by her loving husband Frank; a stillborn daughter; her parents, Archelaus and Deli Aurice; sister Blanche; brothers, Paul, Alfred, Raoul and Henry; and by daughter-in-law Iris. She is survived by one son Don (Madeline) grandchildren, Dana Fedorchuk (Dean), Tyler (fiancee Dana Birch), Jay, Kathy and Mike Ward; and three great-grandchildren, Yogi, Daphne and Jayde. Theresa graduated as an RN from the St. Pauls Hospital in Saskatoon, SK in 1934. She worked as a Municipal Nurse for two years before going back to take a post graduate degree in Tuberculosis. She came to Winnipeg in 1937 and supervised a 100-bed building at the St. Boniface Sanatorium as well as teaching the practical nurses. She married Frank on February 14, 1942 and enjoyed 59 years of marriage. She was a bit of a jock and took pride in having pitched for the boys baseball team at school. She will always be remembered for her ready sense of humour and her faithful devotion to her family, friends, and the Lord. Prayers will be said on Thursday, December 11 at 8:00 p.m. in the Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 257 DesMeurons St. Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 12 at 2:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Church, 252 Dubuc St. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the many homecare workers who REALLY CARED and to her special friends at LAccueil Colombian.
