Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANK LESLIE McKAY Suddenly on December 5, 2003, Frank Leslie McKay died at Rock Lake Hospital. He was 92. Frank was the second son of Gordie and Bea McKay of Pilot Mound. Predeceased by his wife Anne; his only son Tommy; grandson Ray; and seven brothers; he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Norman and Francis Duguay of Calgary, AB; and four sisters, Edna McEwen of Brandon, MB, Margaret Pollock of Pilot Mound, MB, Kae Maidens of Edmonton, AB, Ruth and George Crampton of Kemble, ON; and many special nieces and nephews. Frank was born on November 20, 1911. He served with The Queens Own Cameron Highlanders in the Second World War and was a faithful member and supporter of the Royal Canadian Legion. A true Pilot Mounder, Frank gave generously and was a proud supporter of all local sports clubs and organizations. He was a valued Life Member of the Pilot Mound Kinsmen Club and The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #62. He was also a dedicated member of Masonic Lodge #118. Frank will be sadly missed by his Pilot Mound community of friends. Frank would ask that we remember him with love and stories and laughter. Celebrate his life as he lived it, with passion. Enjoy every opportunity to spend time with family and friends and create lifelong memories. Cremation has taken place. Interment in Valley Memorial Park, La Riviere, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Frank requested memories be made to St. Johns Anglican Church, Pilot Mound, The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #62, Pilot Mound or the Pilot Mound Millennium Complex.
