Eric was a man of few words, but when it came to his six grandchildren he loved to tell anyone who would listen about their many activities and escapades. He enjoyed watching them at their sporting events and was the biggest fan. He was affectionately known to his grandchildren as PaPa and The Candy Man. Many an occasion you could see PaPa at the local Co-op buying chocolate milk and Kit Kat bars. The routine of frisking the Candy Man on his way in the door was a routine that made for great memories for all of his grandchildren.
