Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTADEUSZ (TED) SZADKOWSKI It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ted Szadkowski on Tuesday, December 9, 2003. Ted was born in Lodz, Poland. He was a military man during the war. After the war he immigrated to Canada, where he worked for the City of Winnipeg as a truck driver. In his retirement years he travelled across Canada, to Europe and especially to his beloved Poland. Daily coffee with friends at the Garden City Shopping Centre was enjoyed and walks in his favourite parks. Ted was a longtime resident of the Polish Manor, an active member of the Canadian Legion SPK and a devoted church member at Holy Ghost Church. Thank you to all who cared for Ted in his final year at Grace Hospital, Seven Oaks Hospital, Deer Lodge and Sharon Home. Prayers will be held on Thursday, December 11 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 12 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. with an Oblate Father officiating. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
