ABRAM NEUFELD Peacefully, on December 8, 2003, with his loving family at his side, Papa passed away at Donwood Manor. He was born on March 14, 1910, in Schoenhorsh, Ukraine. He was predeceased by his son Dietrich; son-in-law John Klassen; and daughter Hedy Klassen. Sadly missing him are, Maria, his wife of 68 years; his sister Maria (Germany) his sister-in-law Lena Janzen; daughters, Serene (Henry) Friesen, Helen Neufeld, Katie (Peter) Dyck; grandchildren, George (Erika) Friesen, Mary Friesen, Ed (Lana) Klassen, Christine (Paul) Peters, Henry (Anne-Marie) Klassen, Andrew Dyck, Luke Dyck and Thomas Dyck; nine great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces in Canada, U.S.A. and Germany. His family will lovingly remember him as a man of quiet faith, a gentle, fair and peace loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Our thanks to Dr. R. Martens and the staff at Donwood Manor for their gentle care; to Rev. F. Isaac for his many visits and prayers. Funeral service to be held on Friday, December 12 at 1:30 p.m. at Springfield Heights Church, 570 Sharron Bay, with Rev. F. Funk and Rev. E. Goetz officiating.
