LIZ CONNOLLY It is with great sadness that the family of Liz Connolly announces the sudden passing of their beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. On Wednesday, December 10, 2003 at the Selkirk General Hospital, Liz Connolly aged 64 years of Selkirk. Liz joins her husband Sam who passed away Jan 30, 1988. She leaves to mourn her children, Eileen (Mark) of Calgary; Herb, Samuel Jr., Mary (Glen), Carol (Curtis), Clint and Richard; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; special friend Bill; sisters, Mabel and Francis and nieces and nephews; and her many special friends that were very dear to her. Mom enjoyed her Saturday bingo at the Legion and her crib and bingo at the A.N.A.F. Liz was a very caring, giving and understanding lady. Wake will be held on Friday, December 12 at 420 Greenwood Ave. Selkirk, MB. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 13th (today) at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, with Terry Widrick officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to service time. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Selkirk General Hospital and to family and friends for their compassion and support.
