GERHARD DUBROW It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving husband, father and grandfather, Gerhard Dubrow on December 10, 2003 at the Riverview Health Centre. He went peacefully with his family by his side. Gerhard was born in Germany in 1934 and lived in Berlin for 40 years. During that time, he was employed at Berliner Industry Bank where he is fondly remembered by his former coworkers. He moved with his wife and children to Winnipeg in 1974 to begin a new life. He was fond of his new city and made a living here as a Volkswagen mechanic until his retirement. He was proud of his family, his house and garden, and made many friends throughout his years. Gerhard leaves to mourn his loving wife of 46 years Dolores, his children; Birgit (Ray) Molinski, Jens (Elizabeth) Dubrow, and his grandchildren, Christopher and Samantha Molinski; as well as many relatives and friends both here and in Germany. The family is very grateful for all the support and assistance that was so generously given by relatives, friends and neighbours, and the Health Care workers who took care of him during his illness. A very special thank you to Guenter and Baerbel Scharf for being such loyal and dedicated friends. The family appreciates the care and compassion provided by the staff of the Palliative Care Unit of the Riverview Health Centre. Your dedication made such a difference. A special thank you to Dr. J. Bergen for his hard work and tireless efforts. You are truly a credit to your profession. Goodbye Dad Goodbye Friend Hopefully some day well meet again, For now fond memories are all that remain.
