RAYMOND "DANIEL" SCHNECK Peacefully on Wednesday, December 10, 2003 with friends at his side, Dan Schneck passed away at the age of 54 years at the Portage District General Hospital. He leaves behind his mother Mary Olson of New Westminister; brother Jimmy Schneck of Brandon; sister Maryann Strewins and a niece and nephew, all of New Westminister and a host of friends all across Canada. He will be fondly remembered by the many good friends he made in Manitoba over the past six years who especially enjoyed his wit and good humour. Dan was employed at various places including Paragon, E F Moon Construction and was self employed at the time of his death. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13 at 11:00 a.m. at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel with The Rev. Norman Collier officiating. Interment is to follow at Oakville Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Dans memory to Addictions Foundation of Manitoba, 3rd Floor, 1031 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3G 0R8.
